Home visit lactation support is considered an essential role. Parents new and experienced deserve high quality access to healthcare and to feel safe while accessing it. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
I ask that patients be:
Free from symptoms of illness
Please reschedule your appointment with us if you, or anyone in your home, is ill
Masks MUST be worn over your mouth and nose at all times (NO MASK for baby!)
Face shields are only permitted if you’re also wearing a mask underneath
I cannot accommodate medical exemptions for not wearing a mask
By agreeing to this policy you are confirming that no-one in your household:
Has a fever (Higher than 100.4 degrees), sore throat, cough, chills, body aches for unknown reasons, shortness of breath for unknown reasons, and/or loss of smell or taste
Has tested positive for COVID-19, and/or suspects or assumes they have COVID-19
Has had close contact with someone who tested positive or is assumed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days
If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, please contact me immediately so we can discuss. I will NOT charge a cancellation fee if our visit is cancelled due to illness!
I will be taking the following precautions to keep you safe:
I will wear a mask throughout the visit with you.
I will wear gloves anytime I have contact with you.
I will not have home visits if I, or anyone in my home is ill.
All surfaces you could come into contact with will be sanitized before and after your visit.
I do not do home visits if I have a fever, new known symptoms like a cough or sore throat, if I have had known exposure to someone with COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses, or if I have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
I conduct visits using the same precautions we use in the hospital setting. I want patients to feel safe and comfortable when they are receiving care. If you have further questions please reach out so I can help set some anxiety at ease.
